Those Are Some Good Lookin’ Bananas was Mark’s second effort for National Novel Writing Month. It tells the story of three warring antique shops in the lakeside town of Lothbole-on-the-Wet, and their efforts to make an honest, dishonest and questionably honest living respectively.
Despite reaching the arbitrary NaNoWriMo finish line, Those Are Some Good Lookin’ Bananas is unfinished. Mark’s wife occasionally tells him off for this; if you’d like to do the same, why not give it a poke?
It’s all about authenticity in this game. They’ll snatch whatever you put out if it makes them feel like they’re part of the old town. People don’t buy an old chair off you because they want to sit on it. They buy it because they want something genuine to tuck under their Bjursta.
